It’s all about Japan and jetting off with JET the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme.
To keep us enthused about applying to work in Japan in 2012 we had a little Japan themed party. Which just means we sat on the floor, ate rice and used chopsticks.
Another thing I have been looking at is tradtional clothing, I know for day to day styles it’s very Western but for ceremonies and parties I would love to have a kimono and I found an online store that puts a modern style on the garment.
Look at the bottom right of that picture… model height 5’3” 🙂 Exactly my height. Ok so she is about half my weight but I’ll be slim enough to fit into that by the time I head to Japan (I’ll have to be, I heard it is hard to find sizes over a UK12 )
After Japan the plan is to move on to Thailand for a few months. Hang out on the beaches in koh phangan
and koh samui
party at the full moon party
perhaps learn some tricks while we are there
and then travel around some of the 88 temples on the mainland.
